Jade collected a check from us for $1395.60 on 5/9/22 as a down-payment to purchase materials and begin work at our house. Down below you will see the timeline of events that occurred.
This is the timeline of events in our dealings with Jade A. Care followed by a copy of the text exchanged between us.
Jade stopped communicating after his last text message on 6/26 and never returned our money like he said that he would. We ended up going to the magistrate to have a lien place against him. Unsurprisingly, Jade did not show up to the proceedings and a default judgement was placed against him.

So as shown above and in my opinion, Jade A. Care is not what I would consider to be a model citizen or someone that should be trusted. I provide you with this information in the hopes that it will save you the time and expense that it has cost my wife and myself in dealing with Jade A. Care.
Take note of the poor rating on his Google listing. Unfortunately whoever left the 1 star reviews did not provide any information as to why.
Below is a copy of a news article in the Times Leader dated June 4, 2015.
PLAINS TWP. — For the second time since March, township police arrested a Kingston man on allegations he assaulted the same woman.
The latest incident happened Wednesday at the Seven Tubs Nature Area near Route 115 where Jade Anthony Care allegedly headbutted, punched and bit the face of Paige Stanley, according to charges filed.
Stanley told police Care refused to leave her vehicle after they visited the nature area at about 8:40 p.m. Stanley called Luzerne County 911 saying she was assaulted by her ex-boyfriend, the criminal complaint says.
Another woman spoke to 911 claiming Care was punching and headbutting Stanley, the complaint says.
Stanley alleged Care threatened to kill her and pushed her into a guide rail.
Care allegedly told police he did strike Stanley after she grabbed him in the groin area.
Police said Stanley had injuries to her face including a bite mark on her cheek. She was treated at a local hospital, police said.
Care was arraigned Thursday by District Judge Rick Cronauer in Wilkes-Barre on charges of simple assault, terroristic threats and harassment. He was jailed at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility for lack of $10,000 bail.
In a related case, court records say Care was released from the county correctional facility on March 16 when he posted $20,000 bail through a bail bondsman on charges he punched Stanley inside the Mohegan Sun Hotel in Plains Township on March 1.
Police went to the hotel for a domestic dispute inside a room. While walking down a hallway, Care exited a room and put his hands behind his back and stated, “I did it,” the complaint says.
Stanley allegedly told police she was sleeping when Care came into the room and punched her. She claimed Care grabbed her by the throat and threw her against a wall threatening he was going to kill her, according to the complaint.
Care is facing charges of simple assault, harassment and criminal mischief in county court for the alleged incident at the hotel.
And another dated 9/16/2015 also in the Times Leader:

WILKES-BARRE — A Kingston man who was arrested twice this year for violent assaults on his ex-girlfriend must complete a batterers’ intervention program as part of his sentence.
Jade Anthony Care, 25, pleaded guilty on Sept. 9 in Luzerne County Court, admitting to two counts of simple assault and one count of terroristic threats in separate attacks on Paige Stanley.
County Judge Joseph Sklarosky Jr. on Wednesday imposed a sentence of time served to 12 months, with Care paroled door-to-door into an inpatient facility, court records show.
Police said Care was first arrested March 1 after he punched Stanley inside the Mohegan Sun Hotel in Plains Township.
As officers approached the hotel room, Care “put his hands behind his back and stated, ‘I did it,’” according to a police affidavit.
Police said they observed Stanley to have recent facial injuries that day.
Stanley then told police she was sleeping when Care came into the room and punched her, according to the affidavit. She further alleged that he had grabbed her by the throat, then threw her against a wall and threatened to kill her.
Care attacked Stanley again on June 3, according to police, this time at the Seven Tubs Nature Area near Route 115, also in Plains Township.
Police said Stanley told officers Care refused to leave her vehicle after they visited the nature area that evening. Stanley called 911 to report she had been assaulted by her ex-boyfriend
A witness also called 911, claiming she saw Care punching and headbutting Stanley, according to an affidavit.
Stanley, who suffered facial injuries — including a bite mark on her cheek — was treated at a local hospital, police said.
Care allegedly admitted striking Stanley after she grabbed his groin.
In addition to treatment, Care also will have to serve an additional year on probation. Sklarosky also ordered that he have no contact with the victim.
Care also will have to serve 20 hours of community service.
